Our Story
Dr. Neil Anderson Whitehouse
Ph.D Philosophy (Interdisciplinary Studies
Dr. Neil Whitehouse was the founder of the doctrine of Functional Intelligence and trade marked the name in South Africa in 2002. Dr. Neil started off studying Psychology at the age of fifty.
Many years before that in or about 1992 his son Wesley, was diagnosed with an Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. The school psychologist insisted that he sees a psychiatrist in order to prescribe "Ritalin" due to his lack of attention and disruptive behaviour at school.

It was most annoying for me at the time, as Wesley at the age of seven years old could hit a tennis ball, better than most 16 year old, so I knew he could not possibly have an eye-hand co-ordination problem. Besides, how in the world did she determine that? The true problem was in the fact that Wesley hated school. It was not an ADHD mental illness.

Now after my 20 years of research, I discovered that I was right and have scientifically proven that it was only based on the knowledge that the psychologist had been taught. I do not believe that she intentionally tried to deceive us.

Secondly, during my 12 years of schooling I experienced the same boredom myself, so I was very familiar with the rejection my son had felt at school. I have a natural talent in mechanical things, always wondering how things work. I use logics in everything I do, and admit that many times I have got myself into trouble. However, since then I have learned an awful lot. Notwithstanding the fact, that school was a very boring environment for me to spend 6 hrs a day, five days a week of my time.
Understanding of my son's behaviour at school was very easy to comprehend. He certainly did not have a mental disorder. He simply was bored by being in a schooling environment, where 20 or 30 unique children coming together, with the assumption that they should fit into a prescribed set of personal values.
The reality was that my son won junior Wimbledon in 1997, being runner up in the Australian open and the US Open in the same year, which made him the no 1 junior in the world, both in singles and doubles.

At the age of fifty, which is now 30 years later, I have been a Human Behaviour Scientist studying Psychology, Sociology (Master in Arts (Sociology) July 2004. I completed my Doctorate in Philosophy: Interdisciplinary Studies: (Psychology, Theology and Sociology) April 2007.
I knew that the Psychological discipline was based on false perceptions, creating a myth and due to my persistence in attitude I was excommunicated from the Psychological faculty, due to me constantly exposing the myths taught as a factual scientific discipline throughout the universities within South Africa, and the same principles would apply world wide for that matter.

I have several times invited top Psychiatrist and Psychologist to an open forum debate, unfortunately, none have taken up that challenge.
It has been very difficult to break open these false theories as the top psychiatrist of this world combined with big pharma, both having the money and exceptional marketing skills.
